Columbus State offers affordable college classes to high school students through College Credit Plus. Akili enrolls upperclassmen in the CCP program each year to earn college credit towards their associate’s or bachelor’s degree.
Franklin University offers affordable college classes to high school students through College Credit Plus. Akili enrolls upperclassmen in the CCP program each year to earn college credit towards their associate’s or bachelor’s degree.
Franklinton Rising remodels residential buildings in the Franklinton area by employing students between 16-24 and training them in construction. Akili upperclassmen participate in summer programs and internships at Franklinton Rising.
Tech Corps offers computer science and IT programs for low-income students. Akili students participate in after-school workshops, summer programs, and yearlong internships as upperclassmen.
Equip Skills Center exists to train students in the automotive trade through hands-on experiences. Akili partners with Equip to offer after-school workshops for ninth grade students, shadowing for tenth grade, and internships for upperclassmen.
Nationwide’s Healthy Familes, Healthy Neighborhoods program provides students with career exploration opportunities in a medical setting by hiring them to work in various departments in the hospital. Akili students participate in the summer program each year.
